Sometimes people on the internet get very angry and type things that sound scary but aren't actually true. Today, we are looking at a post by someone named Matt. He replied to a politician and used a lot of big, scary words. Let's break it down!

Albanese has imported 1.3 million illegitimate migrants without a mandate to increase his voting blocs. Why has the opposition allowed this to happen, knowing it will cost them any chance of getting elected ever again?
There are also 70,000+ illegal immigrants costing the tax payer millions, why aren't you actively looking to deport them and help Australians cost of living?
Why hasn't more been done to stop Labor importing known terrorists that radicalise vulnerable children to knife infidels with a sword?
It's good to see you and Taylor starting to mention migration at last, but without solid policy to help Australians, it's all smoke and mirrors."

"Illegitimate" means breaking the rules. But the 1.3 million number Matt is talking about are legal people!
They are international students coming to study, backpackers working on farms, and people filling jobs we need help with, like nursing. Nobody is "importing" them like boxes of toys; they are just moving here legally using the normal rules that have been around for a long time.

A "voting bloc" means a group of people who all vote the same way. But here's a very simple fact: You have to be an Australian citizen to vote.
Students, backpackers, and temporary workers cannot vote in our elections. It takes many, many years to become a citizen. So, letting people visit or work here does not change who wins an election today!

Most people who end up here without the right visa are actually folks who flew here legally on an airplane (like for a holiday) and just stayed too long after their visa ran out.
The government actually does catch them and send them home all the time! But they aren't hiding under our beds; they are usually just working quiet jobs. Sending them home doesn't magically make your groceries cheaper (the "cost of living").

This is just made-up, scary movie stuff. The government does not "import" terrorists. Australia has very strict rules and background checks for anyone coming into the country.
When sad and scary things happen, people get frightened and try to blame someone. But it is very silly and wrong to say the government is doing it on purpose.
